John's Grand Slam

Another great Large Mouth Bass picked up in Palm Bay, Florida. As you can see from all the recent post Brevard County, Florida tends to bring some huge Large Mouth Bass. This bass I think was picked up on a Bass Assassin style plastic. Not sure color. The man in the picture would have to explain in more detail. Great catch you must say!

Big Bass in Palm Bay

Went out fishing in a retention pond in Brevard County in my hometown Palm Bay, Florida. I showed up by myself waiting burning time till my wife arrived home from the In-laws house. The bugs were starting to show up as the sun went down and I was heading back to the car. Just as I was finishing my last cast a buddy just so happen to show up and wanted to fish the North End of the pond which is uncharted territory for us. We normally stay on the East end away from peoples homes. I gave in and said O.K.. Thank God I did because what lied ahead was going to be the biggest bass I have ever picked up. I did not have a camera so I sent the buddy to a strangers house to ask if they had one. The stranger came out with a camera and took a couple pics for me. Oh ya the strangers name is John. He showed me some pictures of some fish he has picked up in the same place. All lunkers!! All I can say is that if you get that feeling it is time to stop fishing. You take that feeling and throw it out in the trash.
